Nursing Positions at Kingsley Pines

Every summer camp needs incredible nursing staff to ensure the health and safety of the campers. At Kingsley Pines, we are looking for people with a genuine passion for nursing and who have a positive attitude to join our team.

What is the Role of the Summer Camp Nurse Staff at Kingsley Pines?

Summer Camp Nursing Staff at Kingsley Pines play a huge role in making sure that the campers’ experience is fun and safe. There are two different types of positions for the Health Center staff, the Nurse and Nurse Assistant. Both positions are responsible for helping with and managing the healthcare needs of the campers and other staff members.

The responsibilities of the Health Center staff include:

• First aid
• Emergency care
• Dispensing medications
• Health-related communication with parents/doctors
• Record management

The Nursing staff is a seasonal position from June 14 to August 10.

Requirements for Health Center Staff

Health Center staff must meet the following requirements:

• Being at least 18 years old
• Positive attitude
• RN (for nurse position not for nurse assistant)

Additionally, each Nurse will live in their own private cabin with a private bathroom that is separate from the Health Center.
